The club has run a garden competition in the Adelaide Hills area of South Australia every few years. The competition has been held alternatively in Spring and Autumn to showcase the different appearance a garden can have.

Our judge for the 2008 competition was local gardening identity Merilyn Kuchel. The overall winner was Daylily Garden.
